From Shooting With Soul by Alessandra Cave

Well, I’ve made it past the two month mark – ten months to go!

I know there is a long way to go, but I’m quite proud that I have even managed to make it this far! On the face of it most of them probably seem like such boring, mundane images of trees and shadows intersperced with cute pictures of my niece and my dog and my lovely sister, but I’m making a conscious effort to think of framing and colour and lighting in every photo. Even in editing I am making conscious efforts about how I use post production.

Some days things really work and some days they don’t. Some days I don’t feel inspired at all – I just feel drained and down and it’s a struggle but I do it.

I’m using the whole exercise to push myself to hopefully be better.
